Install the app

PivotIQ on your desktop & phone

PivotIQ installs straight from your browser — no app store, no download to manage, nothing for IT to package. It opens in its own window with its own icon and stays current automatically. Works on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android.

In Chrome or Edge, open the browser menu and choose Install PivotIQ (or use the install icon in the address bar).

How to install, by browser

Chrome — Windows, Mac, Android

Click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or open the ⋮ menu → Install PivotIQ. It lands in your Start menu / Dock / home screen.

Microsoft Edge — Windows

Open the ⋯ menu → Apps → Install this site as an app. It appears in the Start menu like any other app.

Safari — iPhone & iPad

Tap the Share icon, then Add to Home Screen. Open PivotIQ from the new icon — it runs full-screen like a native app.

Safari — Mac (Sonoma or newer)

From the File or Share menu choose Add to Dock. PivotIQ installs as a Mac app.

Note: Firefox on the desktop doesn't support installing web apps — use Chrome or Edge there. Everything still works in any modern browser without installing; installing just gives you the app window and icon.

For IT & security teams

Running on a closed or protected network

PivotIQ is a browser-based web app. There is no installed agent or executable, it opens no inbound ports, and it makes only outbound HTTPS (TCP 443) requests. On a firewalled or allowlist-only network, permit the domains below and the app works normally — including the installed (PWA) version, which uses the same connections.

Authentication & data run over the Supabase domain above (sign-in, the database, and live updates over a secure WebSocket to the same host).
Analytics domains are optional. If your network blocks Google Tag Manager / Analytics, the app is unaffected — no feature depends on them.
Managed devices (Intune, Jamf, etc.): the app can be pushed as a managed web app pointing at https://www.pivottraining.us, or installed per-browser by the steps above.
Email: onboarding and notification emails are sent from send.pivottraining.us. Allow it through mail filtering so invites and welcome emails reach inboxes.
