We collect information you provide directly when you schedule a consultation, book a keynote, take an assessment, or contact us via email or form. This may include your name, email address, phone number, organization name, and job title.
When you use PivotIQ or another Pivot workspace, information may also include account and organization identifiers, assessment responses, team and leader signals, leader-entered notes and commitments, connected-service metadata, and basic device or usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
When an employer, school, or other organization provides access to a Pivot workspace, that organization manages authorized users and provides instructions concerning its account. For data processed on the organization's behalf, Pivot acts as a service provider or processor. The organization remains responsible for its notices, permissions, lawful instructions, and employment or education decisions.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers (e.g., scheduling platforms, email services) solely to deliver our services. All third parties are bound by confidentiality agreements.
Organizational assessment results are reported as aggregate scores and trends. Groups with fewer than five responses are suppressed or combined with a larger reporting group. Leadership views do not disclose an individual's assessment answers, free-text responses, or a leader's private notes. Authorized workspace users may see information appropriate to their assigned role.
We measure how this site is used, in two different ways.
Without cookies, always on. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and referrers. It sets no cookie, stores no identifier, and cannot follow you to another site, so there is nothing here to consent to and nothing to turn off.
With cookies, only if you accept. Google Analytics is loaded in a denied-by-default state and sets no cookie unless you choose Accept on the banner. Choosing Decline leaves it denied. You can change your mind whenever you like using the Cookie settings link in the footer, and withdrawing takes effect immediately.
We do not sell this data, and we do not use it to build an advertising profile of you.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Our practices include organization-level access controls, row-level data isolation, server-side storage of integration credentials, HTTPS in transit, and administrative controls for authorized users. We review access and security practices as the service changes. A security questionnaire or data-processing addendum is available for organizational customers on request.
Some PivotIQ features use artificial intelligence to prepare conversation guidance, summaries, or suggested actions. We send only the information needed to provide the requested feature. Customer prompts, leader notes, assessment responses, and generated outputs are not sold and are not used by Pivot to train shared or general-purpose AI models. AI-generated guidance is educational and operational support; it is not medical, psychological, legal, or employment advice.
PivotIQ Manager is a private workspace that helps leaders prepare for workplace conversations. When a leader chooses to connect a third-party account, we access the minimum data needed to provide that feature, with their explicit consent. Connections are optional and can be disconnected at any time.
With the Google Calendar (read-only) scope (calendar.readonly), we read upcoming event titles, times, and attendees for roughly the next seven days. This is used only to help the connecting leader prepare for upcoming 1:1s and to gauge meeting load. We never modify, create, or delete calendar entries, and we never access the calendars of anyone other than the leader who connected.
Limited Use. PivotIQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
With Slack, we request delivery scopes (chat:write, channels:read) so a leader can send messages they have explicitly approved. We do not read message content by default. Message history is accessed only if an organization deliberately enables the optional “chat” signal in its administrative settings.
OAuth tokens are stored server-side with access controls and row-level isolation per organization; they are never exposed to the browser. Disconnecting an integration immediately deletes its stored tokens. Conversation notes, commitments, and consented pulse responses are retained only to provide the service and are deleted on request or when an account or workspace is removed, subject to limited backup and service-provider retention schedules. Connected-service data and pulse responses are never used to train AI models. To request access or deletion, email Hello@pivottraining.us.
Our public website and standard PivotIQ service are not directed to children under 13. If Pivot provides a service to students under a written school or district arrangement, the school or district is responsible for required authorization, notices, and parental consent. Pivot processes student information only as required to provide the contracted service.
We use service providers for hosting, databases, email, scheduling, analytics, communications, authentication, and AI-enabled features. They may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate, subject to contractual and access restrictions appropriate to the service they provide. A current subprocessor summary is available to organizational customers on request.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at Hello@pivottraining.us.
